So if the head tube on the frame has stayed the same...and the steerer tube has gained 0.125"...I'm assuming we've now got reduced diameter bearings up top?

They're spot on for me, run them at about 110mm travel on our local 4X track, take them down to 95mm for DJ and then wind them up to 140mm if I end up on a downhill track!
